THE CREATIVE COPING TOOLKIT

The Power of Film to Drive Community, Conversation, and Change.

Strengthening Company Culture Through Award-Winning Film Programs

The Creative Coping Toolkit film-based SEL programs include personal stories and expert perspectives, as well as empowering strategies, interactive activities, and practical tools for supporting positive mental health and promoting EAP engagement.

We use the uniquely powerful medium of film to create connection, kick-start important conversations, shift perspectives, and help people feel supported.

The CCT delivers single to multi-year access to our film programs, integrated into one interactive and easy-to-use online dashboard that includes:

Four award-winning films (each under an hour) that kick-off understanding and emotional engagement of the subjects which include anxiety, resilience, bullying, social media addiction, respect, communication, and kindness.
48 chapter modules that include each film broken into short clips with post-screening reflection prompts.

Dashboard design flexibility so each client can decide which buttons (i.e. tools and resources) to include in their company' dashboard. Plus, new buttons can be added to the dashboard, an easy way to share your company's additional EAP resources, tools, and offerings in one centralized location.

24 interactive activities based on cognitive behavioral therapy that deepen learning, gamify talking about our feelings, and support long-term attitude and habit shift. The activities are especially useful to bring home to involve families in these conversations.

Extensive resources and year-long services to support initial implementation and ongoing engagement in the workplace and at home.

Tools and strategies for measuring impact and evolving programming through various routes: survey feedback, community-based training sessions, viewership analytics and reports, support team check-ins with a designated point of contact, and live-screening engagements (Q&A, chat function).

New content added throughout each yearly license to keep the program relevant, including bonus chapters and learning bursts (short videos that answer key questions that stem from our programming in an approachable and engaging way).

According to the CDC, poor mental health and stress can negatively affect employee:

job performance and productivity; engagement with one’s work; communication with coworkers; and physical capability and daily functioning.

“...HR has reimagined its role in supporting staff. It’s not about controlling costs anymore... It’s about ‘how do I create the workplace that really attracts people and makes them feel better about being in this workplace.'”
Anthony Alex Alonso

Chief Knowledge Officer, SHRM-SCP

But, the CDC advocates that the workplace is an optimal setting to create a culture of health because:

communication structures are already in place; programs and policies come from one central team; social support networks are available; employers can offer incentives to reinforce healthy behaviors; and employers can use data to track progress and measure the effects.

“Angst had a huge ripple down effect…it has probably saved a couple of lives within our organization as it got people to reach out and start talking.”
Allison Stark
